Helen - Executive PA
Hello!
My name is Helen, and I’m executive PA to the Head of Charity. I have worked at Curly's farm for four years now, and no two days are the same.
The farm is an amazing space for learning, whether it's about our animals, farming or social skills, it has a magical effect on all those who visit us. It builds young peoples independence, fosters good communication and is a safe place for many.
Curly's Farm specialises in offering tailored farming experiences for mainstream and SEN schools alike, and we pride ourselves on our ever-growing list of individuals who require a 1:1 provision and a more supported learning environment.
Our staff are a varied group, some have teaching experience, some have children who have additional needs, and some have gone through the adoption process. These shared experiences make our staff team a well rounded and very capable bunch of people.
I’m married and have two daughters, two dogs and some fish.
In my spare time I like to visit historical sites, walk in the mountains of Wales and enjoy the great outdoors.
My favourite animals on the farm are the pigs, especially Blanche and Gerald as they are such characters, they are Middle White pigs and on the endangered register. In fact, there are more Giant Pandas in the world than these pigs, so they are a very special part of our breeding programme.
