Hi!  I am Nicky and I am the Business Manager.  I look after the farm finances and some of the admin, along with my lovely colleague Helen.  

I started working at Curly's Farm in January 2023 and love every moment.  Being a working farm that is accessed by many young people of varying needs, no day is ever the same!  I love seeing the little children eagerly walking around the farm, hearing their babble and excitement as they interact with the animals.  My favourite animals are the Birds of Prey!  They are all majestic!

I am originally from Zimbabwe and moved to the UK around 5 years ago.  It was a particularly challenging move as my family relocated just before Covid hit, which made making friends and settling down particularly difficult.  Curly’s Farm has welcomed me into their ‘farmily’ and I have finally found a place where I feel I belong, and that has helped me settle.    

I am married and we have twin daughters, who love to come and help on the farm.  One loves to be out with the animals and other loves to keep Kyle plied with coffee! We also have two cats and a Grandad who lives with us.
