Hi, I’m Summer, part of the team here at Curly’s Farm!

Before joining Curly's I completed A-levels in animal management and health and social care, I always knew I wanted to work within this sector and this job has allowed me to do both. I grew up on my family farm and have always had a passion for livestock. My favourite time on the farm is lambing season, watching new life be born onto the farm.

I love working with the children and helping them discover how amazing the farm can be. From caring for the animals to teaching about how the farm runs day-to-day, I enjoy seeing young people grow in confidence, learn new skills, and the positive impact it has on these individuals.

I was also voted in as our chairman for Curly's young farmers club for a second year. After a successful year last year I'm excited for our club's future. I hope to inspire and encourage the next generation of young farmers. 

Every day on the farm is different, and that’s what makes it so special. Whether we’re feeding the animals, getting muddy, or just taking a moment to enjoy the animals, there’s always something new to learn and enjoy.
