  • Safer Internet Day 2025 - Spotting scams elp us spot the scams in this interactive Safer Internet Day 2025 Live Lesson. What is Safer Internet Day? Safer Internet Day is the UK’s biggest celebration of online safety. Each year Safer Internet Day covers online issue or themes that speak to the things young people are seeing and experiencing online. The 2025 Safer Internet Day theme is: ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online.' Safer Internet Day is co-ordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre in partnership with Childnet.
  • Safer Internet Day 2024 - Digital Landscape Safely We invited your students to become digital detectives and explore the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence in the Safer Internet Day 2024 Live Lesson. What does the Safer Internet Day 2024 Live Lesson include? Presented by tech expert Georgie Barrat, CBBC’s Rhys Stephenson and – joining us from the National Robotarium in Edinburgh – Blue Peter’s Abby Cook, this Live Lesson demystifys the technology of the future and provides insights into the world of AI technology. The aim of the lesson is to help students navigate the digital landscape safely. Safer Internet Day is co-ordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre in partnership with Childnet.
  • Safer Internet Day 2023 – How to stay safe online and share practical tips. Guided by CBBC presenter Joe Tasker and Blue Peter’s Mwaksy Mudenda, in this lesson we challenge your pupils to solve safety issues in our fictional ‘Digital Defence Squad’ game, and unlock advice from famous gamers and cyber savvy celebrities. We also explore some of the risks of online gaming, ask children their thoughts on how to stay safe online and share practical tips and support from BBC Own It. Safer Internet Day 2023 was co-ordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre in partnership with Childnet and the theme was: Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online.
