Hi my name is Amelia and I started working at the farm in September 2023.

I have always loved animals and studied animal management at Hadlow college. Throughout college I volunteered at Kent Life in Maidstone and gained lots of experience working with all sorts of animals. I then began volunteering at Curlys Farm before becoming a staff member. 

I am also a member of Curlys Young Farmers club and took part in the Kent County Show in 2024. As a part of our club's pig team I showed Dolly the sow and won three 1st place rosettes. 

My favourite animals on the farm are the ferrets and the guinea pigs so you can usually find me sneaking them treats.
